Lottie - carrots, beetroot (really good for cancer) apple, celery, broccoli

stalk (really good for alkaling - not too much) cucumber (very cooling to the

system if you carry a lot of natural heat) fresh ginger (if you are a cold type

- LOL!!! Use frugally)

I dont tend to combine fruit with veg ,,, except for apple.

THEN ... you can blend in avocado, spinach, watercress, parsley, mango, berries

etc

I sometimes add some yogurt or rice/oat milk.

Tins (with no sugar) ok but as my mama taught me .... eat closest to how

something is grown! So fresh and organic is best.

Oh - have fun with it - that's the main thing - find a regime that works,

otherwise we never stick to the good intention.

To Sharon in CA and Beth in UK,

You are both making my mouth water. I was interested in juicing things that I

could have and it seems half of them are off my renal diet. I wanted to know

what your combinations were that I could start juicing again. I just had a bad

experience with the peelings that made it taste so bitter. I never thought of

juicing and then blending afterwards for the bulky fruit. I take opiods, so the

bulk is excellent for me. I will have to send Jimmy on a mission to find that

juicer and some things I can have to try. Jack Lalane puts us all to shame.

Ever see him do situps? His wife doesn't look too bad for all the wear and

tear, either. Dancing With The Stars had a dancer with a jumpsuit on last

night, and one of the judges told him he looked like Jack Lalane. I don't know

if anyone is interested in that show, but it was really funny and the audience

roared.

Oh, by the way, is it o.k. to use canned fruit mixed with the vegetables? I

can't have bananas, melon or nuts.

I will let you know how healthy I get. LOL

Carpe Diem,

Lottie Duthu
