Guest guest
Of course Lottie, you cannot believe a word Kasic or any of them say, they are all so full of BS. I wish they would just say what they stand for, explain what it is they want to do, and quit this he did, he said crap. It cost millions for those idiots to blame everything bad on someone else, like they are the good guys? I send in all the advocacy stuff LL & S sends me, and all the Parkinson's letters too, and I always get back answers and thank you's. And lately it seems to be working so everyone should keep up the good work. LOL I do send letters to my congressmen and senators already, but everyone has to voice their opinions yea or nay to give them some direction as to what the people want. For too long, they have ignored what their constituents want and here we are having to chose sides, whether you belong to a red or blue state all matters. It is no longer non-partisan anymore. It's all about pork and giving money away to lost causes and forgetting about food issues and protecting us from getting tainted food and getting decent food for our children to eat while in school or even the educational system is failing. About my posts, I try to find sensible articles that affect us, even if it isn't strictly about CML. We have everyday issues to deal with concerning our general health. If there is only one article that helps someone, then I haven't wasted my time. Thank you for expressing your gratitude, it goes a long way. I don't know how far these messages are extended where they are practical, because not everyone is able to get the same type of medical care. Some have better and some have hardly any because of their government's restrictions. At least some of the drug companies are furnishing drugs to everyone and I can say that about Novartis, no matter where you live, you have access to their products if the government allows it and that can be a problem for the patients who desperately need it. The really big issue I see now is that everyone wants to cut back on expenses, except for the pork. You heard the old saying, the more things change, the more they remain the same? If they continue to cut back on the amount Medicare pays physicans, there won't be any docts left that will treat retirees. I posted an interesting article on that a week or so ago. Doctors are retiring early and insurance companies will not write policies on certain groups (like children who were born with a disabling disease). They can't refuse to write them up on a basic policy, but what they can't be forced to, is if they don't offer that coverage to anyone, there will be no discrimination , it would be across the board. Take care and watch what your congressmen are doing. According to Kasik, running for governor of Ohio, we have no idea of what is happening. Maybe if I knew any more I would have another stroke. LOL Carpe diem, Lottie
