Hello to all my friends and correspondents. Thank you for all your prayers,

cards, phone calls and letters, I have not been disturbed by any of them, but

instead strengthened in resolve. I will be in good shape if I have as many

prayers as your letters of encouragement and good wishes. Since I am unable to

respond to everyone, I thought of sending this one message that will bring you

up to date so far. Everyone has been so wonderful to ask about me. I am just

so exhausted, I can hardly do anything. I hope the rehab, etc. works somewhat,

if I can just climb out of this hole of pain and exhaustion. It is so hard on

Jimmy to have to do everything, but he is not complaining. I received a notice

today that my next appointment will be June 1, and I should find out by then

what they are going to do and also have the results of my last (47th) BMA. I

think from the tone of their correspondence, they will go back to the SKI, but

on a lower dose: " When medication is on hold, values go down, so we will resume

SKI at a lower dose. " I am already on a lower dose, so I don't know what that

will be, like maybe another 100 mg. less.

Now my next problem will be to be assured that I will have oxygen when I arrive.

Last week, we were instructed to call them when we were in Texas, only to find

that the order was never processed. Someone must have been severly reprimanded

because when Jimmy called today to make new arrangements, the woman in the

office referred us to Houston, who referred us back to Houma and then back to

Houston. We travel with 3 tanks, but that is not enough to get us there and

back. I have yo yo swelling in my legs and feet, it is so hard to remain with

your feet up in the air all of the time.
