Guest guest
Dear Neal, Glad you have a sense of humor. My husband said when he was in France, there was marijuana everywhere. Men on the street were peddaling it and used to say, " Marijuana, GI?. He said no he would wait until he was 65 and if he enjoyed it, he would kick himself for not trying it sooner. We still laugh about it and he still hasn't tried it, but he might if I start using it, right? He took Chantix to stop smoking, so I wouldn't want him to start again. He has COPD and has enough problems breathing. We still want to know if the Marinol helps you not that you have explained how to " fake it. " LOL Carpe Diem, Lottie Duthu
Guest guest
Well, Lottie, now you bring up the subject, I bought a cute little " pipe " in Ft. Myers a few years back, it is meerschaum and it caught my eye. And speaking of catching my eye, it is NOT sitting in the little caddy on my desk, so I want to know who sneaked in and stole my pipe??? I keep it there for a conversation piece, everyone laughs at it because, as you say, I am 80............but they have no idea if I use it or not. And yes,it was funny, when I went in the store, I was with my daughter, and the clerk asked her if he could help her, and she said no but you can help my mother! I have one that is hand carved from the Dominican Repuplic, and a real pretty one one of my kids gave me from some island they went to. I even still have a roach clip I confiscated from one of my kids back in the 70's, it is a 30/30 bullet !! So, I am ready to see if it helps nausea, I just need the fixin's !!! My doctor wants me to try it, but getting the flowers and smoking it maybe a lot less expensive in the long run. I just don't like the smoke because of asthma. Can you see me at 82 walking into a shop and asking for a bong? Now that is funny. Carpe Diem, Lottie Duthu
Guest guest
Lottie, I didn't pay or try the marinol.  Being in the medical field I have heard of cancer patients getting prescriptions for the marinol to help with pain issues, anorexia, and nausea. My mom has CML and I am her advocate! So I am always trying to find out new information so I can help her  if needed. I know marinol does not harm your lungs so it would definatley be the way to go. I know if I had CML I would try it.LOL. You made me smile when I pictured an 82yr old asking for a bong! ________________________________ From: Lottie Duthu <lotajam@...> CML < > Sent: Sat, October 9, 2010 2:59:19 AM Subject: [ ] Marinol  Karine, how much did you have to pay for the Marinol, and did your insurance kick in?
