I have a child with autism as well as help families access services. I jokingly tell parents to move to CA, NY or NJ! I am always shocked when someone moves to GA from one of these states where they were already getting waiver services. I know that now that we are getting services for our daughther we will never leave the state of GA. It is a shame that it varies so much from state to state but moving out of state where you have services is pretty risky!
