Guest guest
Gil Kudrin is correct. The six month recertification period has been pushed by HRSA. With that being said, most of you know that FL and OH are on parallel tracks of cost containment, They are using the almost identical playbook. One of our fears here in OH is that with this new recert period, applicants and people who recertify will fall under the new medical criteria guidelines being proposed. . The supposed doctors that designed and support those guidelines are , in own personal opinion, one step above a vet.. Well, In these guidelines, you better not be one tcell over because they aren’t using viral load as a way to measure health. I was criticized by the department for my stance and said that they would NEVER have approached it from such a medically naïve perspective but they are stupid enough not to realize that it would be legally enforceable let alone stupid. They use the medical guidelines to hide the fact that OH’s new nefarious guidelines will allow the director or his designees (which could be someone on the cleaning crew) to unilaterally lower the income guideline to as low as 100% WITH NO NOTICE. For folks in other states, you better wake up. You most likely will be next.
