Guest guest
This is particularly harsh, and I don't understand the reason behind it at all. Probably a politician's idea to make our ADAP waiting list magically disappear. Still, this is crucial info for those presently on ADAP to know, or risk losing your meds... HRSA mandates that all clients currently enrolled in state ADAPs or applicants on the state ADAP waiting lists recertify every six (6) months to maintain their status in the program. Effective April 1, 2012, the Florida ADAP will require each client to have their recertification (enrollment) completed every six (6) months. There will no longer be a grace period – the recertification MUST be completed by the client's enrollment date. In order to accommodate this requirement, ADAP has made adjustments in the database for early recertification. Persons who fail to recertify timely will be closed to the program (or the waiting list).
