Guest guest
Dear , Congratulations on your 7 seven years post diagnosis date. If this is an indication of what is to come going forward from today, then we all have a lot of hope to look forward to. Looking back, I'm sure you feel it was all worth it. It is not easy to go through pain, anxiety and frustration, but the old saying " one day at a time " is the cheapest medicine. I shouldn't talk, I am the biggest whiner, but everyone here gives me hope that I still have tomorrow to turn things around. How many of you in the group remember how you felt when you first heard about Gleevec? I do, we all clung to that hope that is was the silver bullet of all silver bullets. We were all tripping over each other trying to get into that trial. I want to thank everyone who got in and stayed the course, you made if happen for the rest of us and opened up a new world to everyone on Interferon. I'll be waiting for you to contact me in 3 years to get on our decade list. Carpe diem , Lottie Duthu
