Guest guest
Hi all - I've been following the discussion about " free " cleaning for cancer patients. Some of the confusion may stem from the site address given as cleaningforcancer(dot)com. This isn't a website, it's a web-generated page of cleaning services. There is a nonprofit organization that claims to offer free cleaning services for women with any form of cancer. That group's website is cleaningforareason(dot)org. I've gotten multiple mailings about them from friends. They have a cumbersome application process detailed on the site. They've made statements several times about being overwhelmed with applicants and unable to process them. It's hard to tell if they are legitimate or not. In addition to being a CML patient I'm the cancer guide for a major women's health website. I would like to hear from anyone who has had interactions with this organization, positive or negative. The emails promoting this service are forwarded to thousands of women every week and I'd really like to know, first-hand, if they do what they claim to do and actually provide free cleaning services for women with cancer. You can reply here or write me at PhoenixPat(at).com. Thanks, Pat in Phoenix
Guest guest
Hi Pat, See my posting under the " Free Cleaning " thread. The non-profit is actually Cleaning for a Reason - www.cleaningforareason.org (or .com) Hope this helps, Greg > > Hi all - I've been following the discussion about " free " cleaning for cancer patients. Guest guest
Hi All. I spoke to Robyn who told me that she erred in the website that she gave me which I posted. She did get the free service from going to the website Cleaning for a Reason.org. It took a few times to enter the site and apply because there was not an availability until now. A lady assigned to do the cleaning in her place is going to meet with her today at 6:00 P.M. I'm sorry that I gave you the wrong website to get the free cleaning service. As I said the correct one is Cleaning for a reason as Pat stated. So, everyone, give it a try. I'll let you know how things turn out. Today is just an interview. The lady is scheduled to start in Sept. Sandi > > Hi all - I've been following the discussion about " free " cleaning for cancer patients.
