Each family has a different reason for the way they decide to treat their child's plagio. Whatever works for your family is what is best and we certianly respect that. Glad to hear that you are please with your decision to use the STAR Band. No need to apologize! Dane's mom DOC Grad

Guest guest
Ben's Mom: Please don't feel you " should not respond to these anymore " like you've said. You have come to the decision which you feel is best for your son, which is great. What happened at the CT sight did not happen in our group, and yes, I did see the posts on the CT discussion board. So please, don't let what happened there, affect yuor posts & replies here. All us parents are very passionate about what we are doing for our children. Sometimes, disagreements & arguements are bound to happen, although we never like to see them. I think it was a very kind gesture of Cranial Tech to send you an apology. Even if you were'nt angry with them, they still seemed to feel bad at your unhappiness with their company. To sum it up, don't stop posting here. We are very happy you are happy with the product you have chosed for little Ben. How is he doing? Hope things are still good! Guest guest
hello everyone, so sorry it has been so long since i last posted. patrick and i moved on july 15th and than my computer had a temper tantrum. a great new handicapped assecessable 2 bedroom with central air and heat. yea!!!!! pat had his bma/bmb on august 11th and his pcr is 0.15 the marrow is another thing, we had trouble getting enough of it so we have to wait until november to test again. i am very worried about his weight gain. he weighs 364 and not all is from gleevec,it seems due to his developmental disorders he is just not listening to the doctors or me. it has gotten to be a problem and i have had to lock the freezer to keep him from certain foods that are detremental to his health. i feel so guilty doing this but he could have a heart attack or stroke out on me. he is going to be 39 on the 26th of this month and i want him around long enough to get him pcru.why is it the things we do to keep our loved ones healthy also hurts our hearts.i want him to be here for a very long time to play with noah and be a great uncle to our little man. sorry i just needed to vent and it has been to long since i have heard from the group,i have missed you lottie and roberta. the both of you are the mothers to us all. love peggy bieber
Guest guest
Hi Peggy, When you said that the weight gain was not all from the gleevec are you indicating he has had some water retention weight gain with the gleevec? If so, can you tell me how much and where? Thanks a bunch! Guest guest
Hi Peggy. I believe that counseling for your son would be beneficial. There are therapists that deal with eating disorders. I believe that might help him. Good luck.
