She feels that her nose and anything that comes from it is very dirty. So, this leads to many rituals. Washing her face, keeping her hair in a ponytail in the shower, sniffing, blowing, washing her hands, etc.... I was wondering if anyone else's kids have ever shared this fear? And if you have any helpful advice or exposures. We have come up with an exposure of her touching her nose, near the inside, and then touching something else. And then we'll play a game without her washing anything. We haven't started this, but plan to try. It seems so ridiculous, but I know it is so real to her. Thanks.
