Guest guest
Hi , Glad to read you're doing well. Continued good luck with your rehab, Jeff ________________________________ From: musician12858 <musician12858@...> Joint Replacement Sent: Wed, August 4, 2010 6:47:24 PM Subject: Re: Back home I have PT starting at home in the morning. I think they will come 3 times a week for 2-3 weeks. I am trying to vary my leg positions so I do not stiffen up too quickly. I have a CPM machine which we will have to take upstairs to my bed later on. Since I have the one machine here, I will have to be on it a lot. I am hoping a few hours per knee per day/night at least. I will do what I can to get through this without TOO much pain. > > Hi , So glad that you are home and well. Take it easy! If you cansleep > > on that chair, do! Guest guest
HI , Good. You seem to be on the right track. Keep at it. It is all better from here. Just remember that it takes time. No Marathons yet, but the walk to the corner store is just ahead! All the best, Joan ________________________________ From: musician12858 <musician12858@...> Joint Replacement Sent: Wed, August 4, 2010 11:47:24 PM Subject: Re: Back home I have PT starting at home in the morning. Guest guest
Hi, Surprise! Returned home empty handed last evening. There are some contractural agreements that have to be ironed out and the trial is not ready. The person responsible for getting me up there was sooooo sorry. They came back to the office 3 times to express their regrets. My ire is not up, only my disappointment. I asked Jimmy, " Why is it when other people make mistakes, it costs me money? " to which we both laughed (me in my tears). LOL So you will have to put up with me sooner than we expected. Now it has been moved up to October. I am going to try to take 200 mg. of Tasigna to see if that does anything. My doctor and I looked at my results of my blood work together and both agreed that considering I have been off the drugs for CML for over 3 months (except for a brief stint with Tasigna), my counts look remarkably good. Look at me, I am not freaking out, only because I have learned it's not the end of the world for me and I can still regain my CCR status. After all, I have a Zero Certificate in large red and blue lettering that I have to live up to. I don't have to give it up, it is mine forever, it's my Teddy Bear, I take it put it beside my bed at night so I can see it first thing in the morning. Something to live up to anyway. Guest guest
Well, Lottie, my dear friend, you are a lot nicer about this situation than I would be. It cost you and Jimmy a lot of money to make that trip and the least they could do is reimburse you. That is not a little error. Putting the emotions aside, it was a huge mistake, suppose you had to fly there and back? It's poopy, that's what it is, just plain poopy!!!!! Guest guest
Hi Lottie: You are a trooper, and always ready to do what you need to do. So sorry for the trip you did not have to make, and the money spent that we all know you could have used for something else. We all love your attitude and the way you express things even when they do not go according to plan, but most of all WE ALL LOVE YOU. You certainly have lifted my spirits many a day. > > Hi, Surprise! Returned home empty handed last evening.
