Good of you to try to be informed so you can help your mother over this

current crisis. Have you gone to the website for s Hopkins and made an

appointment for your mother. I would do it in advance and if she decides that

is not what she has in mind, you can always cancel. I have a similar problem, I

have been through all the drugs on the market and then some and found I had to

stop Tasigna over the weekend because of tremors and my heart feeling like it

was going to jump out of my chest. I am going to have to go on Hydrea until I

can get into the next trial in a month or two. It's not the best, but I was on

it for 4 years to keep my wbc down. I'm sure some of the other old timers also

used it for treatment. Keeping my fingers crossed for a solution for your mom.

Hang in there, some people would give their eye teeth to be where you are.

Give it time, it will come back, I can almost promise you. There are no

absolutes with anything, every one is different, ask someone who has been around

for a while. I waited 14 years to get to CCR, then lost it, but I am still

here. I would be more worried about my immune system and infections. We don't

live or die by a slight change on a PCR scale, that should be the least of your

worries. Get out and live your life, you will be just fine.
