Guest guest
The site is so fantastic that I wonder if it is some kind of conspiracy to discredit alternative medicine. Every few years a form of ET method for curing cancer appears. I don't think the money is going to ETs. Guest guest
Hi, BC I was totally using alternative medicine - primarily herbs, homepathy and chiropractic. I had an allopathic doc who knew that the scripts he wrote (for antibiotics and such) were not going to be filled. After dx, I was told that using herbs was a problem, including my antibiotic substitutes (echinacea and goldenseal). I occasionally still use homepothic remedies. Being very sensitive to medications (I have a long list of drugs I am allergic to) I try to avoid taking a new drug if at all possible. I have tried also accupuncture for the chronic pain, with mixed results. The acupuncturist feels that the chronic inflammation from TKI's makes it difficult for the accupuncture to be effective. I continue to see a chiropractor regularly and find that this, plus exercise and occasional massage, gives me quite a bit of relief.
