Guest guest
I am sending my prayers from the holly land. Giora Israel [ ] Prayers for Beth from the UK Dear CML friends, I was just informed that Beth from the UK, who recently started posting on this list, is now in Hammersmith Hospital and that her CML has progressed. She has decided not to undergo high dose chemotherapy and to discontinue treatment, putting herself in God's hands and knowing that she will soon die. She is at peace with this decision and said that she would welcome all prayers for her comfort and the journey ahead. She has a computer with her and may see any messages posted, or I will forward them to her (or any private messages you wish to send to me). In a short time, she has become a dear cml friend. C. Guest guest
Hi , I am in complete shock!!! I assigned Beth # 1355 in the Zero club on Jerry's site in September. It just doesn't make sense. Could she have had AML along with CML all this time and her doctor missed it? My heart and prayers go out to her. Guest guest
Hi Zavie - I was the same as I thought Beth was doing OK when I talked to her a couple of weeks ago on FB and was talking to her tonight on FB and she told me she has ALL and is very aggressive. It is so terrible for her and she is meeting with her consultants today in Hammersmith, but looking at palliative care rather than actual treatment. Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm sorry , but from what Beth has posted on Jerry's site, she is starting extensive chemo today, so I would say she is in the doctor's hands as well as God's hands. Beth, if you read this, everyone is rooting for you, I hope God blesses you with a complete recovery, and a fast one too. Bobby __________________________________ Hi Bobby and the List, I communicated personally with Beth 3 times late last night (Wed) and what I posted was what she had written to me (with her permission).....so I do not know if she changed her mind this AM and started chemotherapy. I guess we should pray for her healing, her comfort and whatever journey she takes. If I hear more I will let the list know. C.
Guest guest
I became part of this group about 3 weeks ago and have not had any contact with Beth. However, my husband (who has CML) and I are saddened to learn of Beth's present condition. Our prayers are with Beth and her family. I believe in miracles and with God all things are possible.   ________________________________ From: hey00nanc <ncogan@...> Sent: Thu, November 4, 2010 12:44:29 AM Subject: [ ] Prayers for Beth from the UK  Dear CML friends, I was just informed that Beth from the UK, who recently started posting on this list, is now in Hammersmith Hospital and that her CML has progressed. In my e-mail communication with Beth, I did not ask what the situation was, I sent her my blessings and then she responded late last night that she would not continue with treatment and that she was at peace with her decision. I did have her permission to post the information to the list and she welcomed prayers. It is possible for someone to have more than one type of leukemia at a time. When she recently had testing done they were looking for CML and they said that she was doing fine. But Beth has felt for some time that things with her health were not right. She would like us to all keep her in our thoughts and prayers, for whatever decision she makes about her care. C.
