Guest guest
Ah ... just posted this to you too Lottie! Trust you to e ahead LOL! One day I will beat you!!! x From: Lottie Duthu <lotajam@...> Subject: [ ] National CML Society " CML " < > Date: Friday, 8 October, 2010, 8:37 Â National CML Society is a web site established by Greg s in memory of his mother who lost her battle to CML. During his period of deep mourning, he came up with the idea of having a website devoted to CML. It is still under construction and there are new things being offered, so stay tuned and check in often. This is his life ambition, he travels across the country, talking to CML experts to bring us the latest news on new therapies in development the the current ones that are being considered for combos. This is his full time job - he does nothing else in order to devote all of his waking hours to produce a website that would provide information for all newcomers and veterans of CML alike. He has just posted his first dialogue with Dr. Cortes of MDACC. I found it very interesting. He is working on procuring other doctors like Drs. Mauro, Talpaz and of course Dr. Druker won't be very far off. I learned a few things from it and even took notes as the doctor was talking. It's on a split screen, they were in 2 different cities, so we thank both of them for working so hard to schedule their time and rearrange their appointments in order to pull this webcam off. I urge you all to watch it and if you have any questions you would like answered, you can write Greg at the website and he will try to get in as many questions in the interview as he can. Here goes and enjoy: http://www.vimeo.com/15599871 FYI, Lottie Duthu
Guest guest
Thanks for posting this Lottie. It is indeed excellent information. Well done Greg! Greg s is doing an excellent job pulling together a team for this organization that includes fellow patients Barb Stanley, Mesa Arizona Beth Hodges, Atlanta, Georgia Glenn , Ann Arbor, Michigan and Jerry Mayfield, Bloomington, Illinois who runs newcmldrug.com. Greg does indeed collaberate with Cheryl-Anne and the CML Society of Canada but I can assure you that no one is sharing any beds! Perhaps Zavie meant to send his note suggesting otherwise to you privately. Thanks for all your support, dx 11/98 > > National CML Society is a web site established by Greg s in memory of his mother who lost her battle to CML. Guest guest
Folks  I see this group as an orchestra and or choir.  Without all the voices or instruments it would not sound the same. Each invidual sound makes its own contribution and without it we would be missing something.  Sometimes there is a note that might be off key (like me in the shower) but in all I think the results have been full of good vibrations and very effective.  I get a great deal of benefit/satisfaction from learning from the performers and soaking up this spirtual sounds. Its where I go to get enriched.  Thanks to all of you for that!  I also " listen " in on the other performers/sites out there as they all make can make a contribution too.  Rap music - perhaps excluded - I don't believe we would ever say that there is a thing as too much music (or information and opinions).  I just try to discern what I will carry with me and sing along to!  Love and Mercy!!
