Does anybody use a Vitamix blender? It is like a Super-Blender on steroids--it juices ANYTHING and EVERYTHING and is wonderful. > > We do Apple-Ginger-Celery-Yam or Sweetpotato. It is YUMMY. We put lots of Kiwis in juices--strawberries go well with this, as do bananas and pineapple--skins and all--Kiwis are loaded with Vitamin C and you actually don't even notice the furry skins are there (I know hard to believe)! ____________________________ Hi Vicki, I have had a Vita-Mix for a decade or more, also have a juicer, but it is easier to use the Vita-Mix and I feel that I need the fiber. Like Beth, I don't tend to mix veggies and fruits...I think the idea behind this is that each requires different digestive enzymes in the stomach.........but recently a raw foodist told me that if something is juiced (ie the cells broken down) that it does not matter, so maybe this is so. I may ask her again...she is a produce person at a health food store. The exception was that apple is OK. C.
Guest guest
One thing I did when I juiced was put in some concentrated graviola I don't know if it helped but I thought about the bit of sugars in the juices and that , if the cancer sucks up the sugar maybe it will get the graviola at the same time. Don't know if that worked but it is a idea. Dennis
