Guest guest
Dearest Carol...you're on quite an adventure, but I'm so sorry you're having pain and swelling. That's wonderful that you have a comfy bed and can sleep as long as you want tonight. My goodness, kiddo, I admire your tenacity! Please take the best care you can. ((((((((((Carol))))))))) All My Love.... Tess

Guest guest
Thanks, Kathy. I hope you feel better, too. I think, among other things, the stress can set us up for a flare. Hopefully once you're settled in your new job it will subside. I'm praying that you feel better and have a wonderful first day. Lots of love, Carol Re: [ ] OUCH! hang in there carol. i kinda know how you feel. i am starting my new job today and think i am flaring too. since saturday i have felt kinda strange in the head and neck. dizzy feelings. then yesterday i had a case of diabetic shakes. never really felt right after that. my whole left side it feels like someone is just wringing out my muscles. then i tried to get a good nights sleep and my dog woke me up again at 3:15am with a tummy ache and unable to sleep since then. hope you get through you trip ok. kathy in il
Guest guest
Hello, I just returned from a 4-day trip to Las Vegas with my husband. Before I left, I was told, " You'll do a lot of walking. " That scared me a little, as I've been having more pain in my feet, knees, and ankles. I an newly diagnosed and my condition does not feel stable. Different joints hurt at different times. I've been on Plaquenil and Vioxx for a couple of months. Fortunately, I tolerated the walking, but had to " doctor " myself afterward with ice, rest, elevation, and Tiger Balm. The exercise felt very good, though. My shoulders have really been hurting. I'm thinking of calling my rheumatologist and getting in before May to see if something can be done. (Cortisone shots? Anyone have experience with them?) I know that pain is part of this illness. How do you know when to just put up with it and when to contact the doctor? I struggle with the " unknowns " of this condition. Mine has been a gradual journey into RA. Symptoms have come and gone for the past 5 years, but now they are fairly constant. Peace, Sierra

Guest guest
, Ice it and keep the foot elevated as much as possible. That should help reduce and prevent swelling and alleviate some of the pain. linda N2kids@... wrote: Silly me went and somehow dropped a jar of straberry preserves on my toe!!!!
