It was planned and t he NFL knew about it - although they say they were shocked and didn't know about it. The NFL fines their players for not having the correct SOCKS on and the exact length of each and every player's socks. Now, THAT is control. They had to know about this. No organization like the NFL just hands over something as big as the Half-Time spot to any one without being involved in every stage of the planning and execution. I think the NFL just got caught in its own web and they are trying to pass the buck. The boob doesn't bother me in the slightest EXCEPT there were thousands of children watching the half-time show. There were and are other television venues for showing a boob. The outfit was constructed so that the material just popped away - I've seen strippers with clothes like that. For me, the issue is all the parents who don't want their children exposed to this, and it was forced on them. My other issue is the NFL saying they didn't know it was going to happen.
