Dear Eva,

It is so good to see you post, but I am so sorry that your baby was so sick she

had to be in the hospital. I know the memory of that is still very fresh in your

mind. My last baby was dehydrated when he was 2 weeks old and we had to put him

in the hospital. I stayed there night and day with him, I was so afraid of

losing him. I came home to take a bath and change clothes and my husband took my

place. When I went back, he was asleep on a chair in the hall and my best friend

was sitting by the bed with my tiny baby. It seems he was crying and my poor

husband never being a father before didn't know what to do with this tiny little

baby with tubes coming out of him, so he called my best friend to come in the

middle of the night. She got dressed and never said she couldn't come because

she had to go to work in the morning. That's what friends are for and she proved

she was one. So you see, dear friend, Eva, when you have something to say, we

are ready to hear it, because we are all friends here.

I know you must have been a wonderful mother and you are still a wonderful

friend to everyone in the group, sending your little messages to our newcomers

or when someone was ill. Your 2 cents is important, too and I'm glad you told us

your thoughts on the subject. I remember when you first started posting to the

group. It's been a while, but we still like to hear from everyone to know how

they are doing. Keep writing, you matter.
