Our DD couldn't eat because of her vomiting fear for about 6 mos. when she was 7 and I couldn't believe how much our society was scheduled around food! I tried to make things easier for her too, but it's everywhere! Cake at birthday parties, our clergy offering her a chocolate kiss in the hall just to be nice, candy treats as rewards at school (that she would just throw away), pizza parties, popcorn at the movies--argh!
