Hi , As long as you have bowel dysbiosis you are likely to have a degree of leaky gut. Nw I'm getting out of my field, but you can tell I believe with a darkfield miscoscope live blood cell analysis before which you're likely do some kind of challenge, by eating something and then checking for proliferation of white blood cells which would indicate probability that they are responding to particles entering the bloodstream. regards, Duncan Crow

Guest guest
Dara- Thanks so much for your thoughts. I absolutely believe that " wholistic " stuff works. I took Asher to a wholistic PT for his delayed motor development and within an hour of coming home he was pushing up to the crawl stance and rolling over. Hokey-but it worked!! That is a really good idea about looking into something like that. I wonder if insurance would cover anything like that- HA!! I can only dream, right? I plan on looking into cookbooks and slowing introducing a few of the things he has already been exposed to, but didn't react to. I've heard mixed reports about doing this, so we'll see. Asher doesn't seem to react to the dog all the time-just some of the time. I guess we'll just see about that too. Asher has his well- baby check on Friday, so I plan on asking about seeing a pediatric nutritionist. I will also be looking for some alternative grocery stores! Thanks for all your thoughts. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this! God Bless, Asher, 10-months; pos. plagio, motor delays, and now allergies!!! Guest guest
, if you find a health food store, you might ask them about a nutritionist referral too. I have seen a few over the years and have definatley found a difference in the approach between a traidtional and one who takes a more holistic approach (which was much more helpful I found) Good luck! Guest guest
Well, if you want to try an enzyme, will extra Peptizyde help? If that doesn't do it, another enzyme product for respiratory issues is a relatively new one called Mucostop. It is proteases that are supposed to particularly target respiratory tract and excess mucos and inflammation in the nasal tract. I tried I and didn't notice a thing, but I don't have brochial issues or allergies. However, I've personally met several people with asthma and serious allergies that said it was excellent for them. So maybe it is very specialized for that. I've seen a number of herbal things but actually haven't paid much attention to what is what. . Guest guest
We actually have chased pollen issue extensively for years, because before I realized my daughter had yeast; dairy; sugar; gluten issues, we thought it was all pollen related because that's when she went most nuts. Then I found out it just so happened that pollen pushes her bucket over the top but there were all the other problems building. But one incredible find for us was the sharper image ionic air purifier. Seriously I really wasn't expecting much because others with pollen said it did nothing, yet it was obvious we needed to try something. used to wake up in the morning and sneeze like 10 times, and would get 1 or sometimes 2 bloody noses every night. And hate to sound like the infomercial, but poof, all that went away. I plugged it in and paid close attention to it for a few days, and noticed nothing. So I just mentally chalked it up to a gimmick. Then one day a week or so later I happened to realize the sneezing had stopped. Apparently it takes about a week to clean a room, and that is why I didn't notice it when I was paying attention. Of course this doesn't take it all away, but sure helped in the mornings and for starting the day. Here are some other tips I use or I've heard of: 1. This one is a biggie, take lots of showers, like at least once a day. By the end of the day they have it in their hair and all. And when she gets exposed and is a mess mentally, I throw her in and it helps. 2. Some say high doses of vit c help for an attack, I've tried it and it's a maybe for us. 3. If you can do it, others swear by sinus rinse to cleanse out the nose regularily. I could dig up the holistic recipe if you'd like mostly just a certain type of salt and water. 4. Here's someone elses inputs, " ...They all swear bypropolis, especiallly with echinacea " . 5. Here's another post I had found, " I highly recommend these homeopathic drops, which contain several pollens, funghi, histamine, etc http://www.strictlynatural.com/ProductDetail.asp?PN=1450026 " Allergies Some one please advise me on what I can take to get rid of 6 weeks of Allergies. Here in CA it has rained for over 2 months and everything is green. I have had puffy eyes and sneezing. I have tried Claritin and Advant(something) Nothing is helping. Guest guest
I just started OLE and my allergies which only respond to tyenol severe allergy(same ingredient non brand names don't work) are mostly gone. I might take severe allergy once a day now(used to be 4-5 times every day). Didn't see where OLE should affect allergies(itchy eyes, sneezing, combo runny & stuffed nose, sometime headache) but I don't care. The results are great. Feeling empathy and caring for others is the only true marker of being human.  For the past hundred years, medical research has only focused on the evaluation of the solid composition of the solutes of the human body in order to discover the cause of most diseases that afflict us, from childhood to old age. Focusing only on the solid elements in the body is responsible for emergence of the science of pharmacology and manipulation of different health problems of the body with chemical products now at back breaking costs.  Twenty-three years ago, it was discovered that concentrating only on the solid elements in the body has been an erroneous scientific approach. It has so far led to the present no-cure-in-sight practice of medicine. It has become obvious that to evaluate the cause and cure of different diseases, focus of research should become the molecular fluctuations in the water content - the solvent inside the cells of the body. Pursuit of the solvent regulatory paradigm has given birth to a new science of medicine--based entirely on the discipline of physiology. It is now clear that chronic unintentional dehydration is the primary cause of most human health problems. These problems can now be identified, prevented, and even cured naturally at no cost, very simply by correcting the water balance inside and outside the cells of the body.  The new science of medicine defines histamine as a brain chemical that is in charge of the water regulation and the drought management programs of the body1, 2, 3. Its excess activity in health problems such as allergies and asthma indicate water shortage in the body. To a dehydrated body, loss of water that evaporates with each exhalation of air - the winter steam in front of your nose when you breathe - is more than the body can afford. Histamine constricts the bronchioles and decreases the free flow of air in and out of the lungs to reduce water loss until more is introduced into the body. It is mind boggling how simple water is truly a most efficient natural antihistamine that can prevent asthma, even relieve it, yet there are over 18 million children with asthma taking medications that also affect their brain functions - they are mentally fogged up. The same applies to allergies with more than 50 million sufferers.  To a growing child who constantly needs water to fill his/her developing cells, asthma and allergies translate to stunted growth because of insufficient water intake. Over a longer period of time, this kind of symptom-producing dehydration can cause genetic damage, immune system shut down and eventually more serious diseases like obesity, diabetes and cancer. Thus, understanding persistent dehydration and its complications enables us to prevent serious diseases, including asthma in children.  Do you know even with the best of chemical treatments many thousands of children die every year from asthma, when the daily intake of some additional water could very simply save their lives? They do not need to stop their medications. As soon as their bodies are better hydrated with simple water, their need for use of medication to open their bronchi will diminish and their doctors can then stop the prescribed drugs. The treatment is natural and simple; it is founded on the new physiology-based science of medicine; it is inexpensive; it enhances brainpower and learning ability. With all these pluses, how can anyone hesitate to test this new treatment protocol to deal with conditions like asthma and allergies? What can they lose?  Based on over 23 years of focused attention to chronic unintentional dehydration, I have reached the opinion that asthma and allergies are names given to adaptive reactions to established deep (intracellular) drought, and its metabolic complications in the human body.  For more information about dehydration, visit www.watercure.com.
