Guest guest
Hi Theresa, Of course I remember you!!! I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better! You've been in my prayers forever and of course I know what you meant by cherished " . Glad you hear you're feeling " normal " . I thought about extreme makeover, the only problem is that they want something they can see results with in 6-8 weeks. For all the stuff I'd want done we'd need 6-8 MONTHS, so I gave up. I'm having my Tummy Tuck next month (Feb 18) and I'm looking forward to looking down and seeing the " lil' miss " and not a bunch of fat/skin! Take care and keep in touch! I have thought of you so many times and thought of how brave you have been through such a terrible time. There were some very difficult moments when you must have despaired of life itself. I know that I shed quite a few tears as I prayed for your recovery. It brings me great joy to hear that you continue your recovery. Me... well, I am working more than full time. Gene and I are going through an adoption homestudy because we have decided we might as well have some devils to raise in our old age I'm still a bit of a round girl, but I am a functioning round girl! I am so glad to " hear " from you again. And so relieved to hear how well you feel. I know all our prayers are answered with this good news. I am 2 years out now, and down 147 lbs and trying to live-it down 20 more lbs before my 49 th birthday in April. I am feeling great and wearing a size med shirt and 14/16 pants. Size 12 dresses. It seems like a miracle to me. I hope to see you in March! take care and dont be a stranger, Sharon in Onyx
Guest guest
Theresa, I'm so glad to hear from you again! That's fantastic that you are finally on the upswing. It's proof that miracles do happen. I am still right on the cusp of 179/180lbs..but that's a lot better than the 327lbs where I started and I'm pretty happy where I'm at right now. I can wear size 14's and I'm starting to look more deeply into PS as I want to have it done before August 2004 when I goto Sri Lanka to visit my Grandparents. (I can feel Jo huffing to herself that I'm finally writing an update for you when told me to update more last time I was in Delano *grins*) I had one consult with a doctor in Denver and I'm impressed with his work BUT he doesn't take insurance of course, so I'm still debating the benefits. In the mean time, I also want to send my pictures to Dr Fabio Zamprogno in Brazil as he's certified with the Brazilian Board of Plastic Surgery and I need to see if it's still significantly less with surgery, anesthesia, travel, food & lodging and if I can get everything done in one trip if I stay 3-4 weeks. I'd like to minimize my time off work..get great results and hopefully not have to be paying off my PS for the next 5 years if possible. I'm definitely my own Extreme Makeover candidate as I want brachioplasty, breast lift, extended tummy tuck, outer thigh lipo, butt lift, back lipo, body contouring, etc! I'll post a current picture to the website soon as my work's Winter Gala is this Saturday, so I have an excuse to take a picture. As for you and your Extreme Makeover..well, you went through hell to get to where you are today..I could see why you you'd want to complete the process!
