There are some viral things that progress this way, too, so it may not be a lifelong thing, it may be an acute thing. Guest guest Posted May 25, 2004 Report Share Posted May 25, 2004 Libby: I am so sorry what you and son are going through, I started my diagnosis along these lines , and with MRI and spinal tap, was diagnosed with MS.....later the diagnosis was changed even with the results...don't give up hope, or stop asking any questions that pop onto mind.
