Guest guest Posted October 21, 2010 Report Share Posted October 21, 2010 Hi roberta...this is mel...i haven't been sending anything that i am aware of. i am from bucyrus ohio and go to the cleveland clinic for tx of cml. if i can be any help let me know what u need me to do MEL SWERLEIN Hi everyone - the best advice I can give everyone is to make sure in your contacts (address book) in your email program, have as your first contact a dummy email: aaaaaaaaaaaaa@... as the phishing virus then can go no further as it is not a legitimate address. If you have several email addresses eg as well, make sure that address book has this in it too and it stops the phisher from being able to get these details. Likewise when forwarding on emails eg jokes, always make sure you delete email addresses and forward the email using the Bcc line, so it keeps the email hidden from everyone else and keeps your email private if that person then forwards it on to someone else. If the Bcc line isn't below Cc, click on the view tab at the top of your email and click on Cc/Bcc fields.
