Guest guest
Hi Dana :-) I was wondering what are lysine susceptable viruses? My kids just pushed a virus that was terrible.....worst I have seen yet...at least I think it was one they pushed or the picked up " the flu " . Anyway this virus caused more yeast than I have ever seen before in the kids....but it has caused a variety of issues here....from pneumonia to some weird stuff where the mastoid bone hurts, and then some. But the yeast is incredible even with massive doses of candex, lots of biotin, GSE (does that tell you how bad it has been since I don't like to use that on them)and lots of pros...and we are still not gaining on it. This has been incredible....we are sugar free..almost fruit free and even when I cut the carbs way back this stupid yeast still increased... It would abate a little for a few hours while the candex was working...and be just as bad in a few when it is done....not sure what to think. Guest guest
> Hi Dana :-) > I was wondering what are lysine susceptable viruses? At my house: warts on hands, plantar warts on feet, cold sores in mouth, chicken pox/shingles. I saw all those symptoms during lysine therapy, as the viruses were coming out. I believe all of those are related to herpes virus. The plantar warts were the last to come out, and it was NASTY. Dana

Guest guest
Virastop is used by people here in addition to other things. I've not used it. We are just doing A and C for viruses for my boy - he has issues with yeast we wanted to address more thoroughly before chelation, so weren't really aggressive with viral. But, we are addressing viruses with my husband aggressively, and I too can't say enough about Lysine. WOW. We have him on A, E, CLO, C, OLE and Lysine. I added the lysine last and it made the biggest impact. He noticed a difference almost immediately in increased energy and over all well being. But, the biggest note was his warts. When someone here said something about warts being viral, I had him check his. He said without looking that they had been disappearing rapidly! The largest one, which had been burned off several times with liquid nitrogen, was only half the size it had been before. I'll be so happy if it disappears completely. He's a mechanic, and a large (1/4 inch raised) wart on his knuckle is very much in harms way and always getting injured. He had been doing CLO for a couple years and it never touched the warts, or in my opinion, any of his other viral issues. He'd also been doing extra E both internally and topically. The A, C, OLE and Lysine are in the last 2 months. As for increased language, my son is very high functioning, aspergers, but had a major brain/mouth barrier with any stress at all. We noticed much easier communication for him when we addressed the yeast issues. I don't know if addressing viral issues will improve this more, but will find out soon. I plan to start chelating, and if that doesn't stir the yeast back up too much, then I will probably address viruses more aggressively. He is 18 yo, and I just got him home for a long enough spot to start dealing with all of this. Didn't want to try on his previous random work schedule in another city. P. Guest guest
> > Hi Bee, I read that you don't believe that viruses are contagious. It made sense to me , but I just came across some body who has pink eye and it made me rethink it. He said that he was with his girlfriend the day before and she had pink eye. The day after he woke up to find that he had it to. He had to have caught it from her. It would be too much of a coincidence otherwise. His immune system probably did play a role in his body acquiring it, but ultimately it did pass from her to him. +++Hi . Since he and his girlfriend were together more than likely they ate the same foods and drinks, and of course they were in the same environment. Pink eye is evidence that body is detoxifying something. >Like chicken pox, It is possible to be exposed to it and not get it if your immune system is strong enough, but you could if it is not. right? +++No one " catches " any germs or bugs from outside their own body. The body itself creates such bugs in order to clean itself up. Bee
Guest guest
Hi Tammy We had pink eye last summer and I treated my kids and myself with green tea bags: pour boiling water over the bags and steep for a minute, wring out and place over each eye. I would also splash a bit of the tea in my eye. I also used colloidal silver in my eye and castor oil in the eye (not as fun!). My friends did the medical route and took longer to heal than we did- woo hoo! I'll be curious to see what Bee recommends, but thought that something here might help you in the meantime. Hope you are well soon! -Sara From: tammyco5@... <tammyco5@...> Subject: Re: [ ] Re: viruses Date: Monday, March 9, 2009, 11:55 AM Speaking of pink eye....I have it. Guest guest
> > Hi Bee and group- I have read about the germ theory but I really don't understand it completely - My question was if I should let my 2 boys ages 5 and 8 be exposed to the chicken pox virus in order for them to have immunity to it when they are adults? +++Hi Lourdes. Immunity is based on the Antibody Theory, which is totally false too, so why anyone would want to purposely increase immunity doesn't make sense - see these articles: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu5_3_2.php +++The fact is that people who are most immune to diseases don't have high antibodies against them, as pointed out in this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/germ13.php > They both have never been vaccinated for anything. And if they are to be exposed is their anything they should be taking more of or different than what is recommended on the candida diet. Also, are there any topical creams that are natural that I can use? +++If they happen to get chicken pox, put them on a liquid diet, i.e. Bee's Egg Drink, mineral-rich bone broths and soup, and increase their vitamin C to 4,000 mg per day (taken in divided doses with food). If they get loose stools from vitamin C, cut back a little on the amount. +++A good topical cream for the pox is baking soda, which helps alleviate itching. Make a paste with water and apply it. Also give them baking soda baths. The best, Bee

Guest guest
I have 4 children and 2 of them (13 & 10) are being treated for Lyme/Bartonella. Knock on wood - we have been very healthy and have not picked up any of the viruses going around not even a cold. I also homeschool and I believe that has made a tremendous difference. I allow them to get the rest they need and watch what they eat. We do have co op and church so we are around other people though just not every day in a classroom setting. From what I've been reading your health or lack there of resides in the gut. I think if you were to make sure she has the proper amount of good bacteria in the gut you would notice a difference in whether or not she picks up viral infections. Best wishes.
