Guest guest
Hi ... sorry I forgot the American word for courgette! It's zucchini! Made delicious chestnut dumplings in a really tasty Vegetarian lentil stew packed with flavour last night. We had picked the chestnuts up on a local hill .... terrors to peel, but once done, broke them up small and mixed with flour, gram flour, fresh herbs , olive oil and seasoning and dropped little balls into the hot liquid. Great on a cold, windy night with mashed potato. I really love cooking from fresh, organic and just picked some wonderful crisp brocolli leaves from the garden. I am good! > UK B x ________________________________ Hi Beth, Glad to hear you are doing well. Did you have your consult at HH? GreensFirst is really quite palatable. At first it was too minty and people complained and they changed the mix. When I think I have not been getting enough veggies, I will drink it first thing in the AM (it is comparable to 10+ servings of fruits and veggies, all organic). I know others who take it with them when they travel, to compensate for bad diet. Your soup sounds good and this is getting to be soup weather. What is courgette? also once before you mentioned celery root and I saw that in the market. I did make a broccoli soup with rice milk and a potato to thicken....can't eat too much broccoli I guess. Hope you continue to share some of your healthy eating tips with us. C.
