Guest guest
Hi Kath, I don't know if I suggested this to you before or not, but have you considered an antipsychotic? My ds(6) had the same reaction to Prozac and Zoloft but could not function without it.So using the anti-psychotic has helped the thoughts. My ds never raged before the meds either. Guest guest
Hi Barb, My son started on Risperdal, and we had to discontinue because he was so lethargic. We than tried Abilify, which was excellent for about a year, than petered out, even after several dosage increases. He is now on Seroquel, and he only has the thoughts once in a great while., and they are short lived. He has been on it for about 3 months now. He has actually lost weight on it, because he gained alot from the Abilify(which isn't suppossed to cause weight gain.) As we all know every kid is so different. Hope this helps Hugs Judy
