Guest guest
Okay, I went today to observe our local school system's ABA class. My son has already been placed there, but I want to see it before he goes in it. I was told that I had to have an appointment set up with the Special Ed. Pre-K social worker. Huh? When I called her, she set up an appt for over a week from now and told me that the observation would only last 30 minutes. now, that just smells fishy to me. Having been a special ed and a regular ed teacher, I've never had to tell a parent to leave. So, is it just me or should I push to observe when I want and how long I want (within reason, of course)?
