Guest guest
Thank you so much for this information! I was on the phone today with two different advocates from different agencies, and one didn't know the laws in CT. The other one told me that the school has the right to deny my eval ,but she never told me to file a due process hearing. Thanks again for your help! Guest guest
You're welcome Judy. Since you're from Connecticut, I found their Parent Handbook. And there are some forms at the back to use. The link is: (you'll probably need to copy/paste it, I'm no good at long links!) http://www.sde.ct.gov/sde/lib/sde/PDF/DEPS/Special/Parents_Guide_SE.pd f Found it on this page under Resources for Parents & Families: http://www.sde.ct.gov/sde/cwp/view.asp?a=2678 & Q=320730#publications But - if I'm recalling right, read too many posts today! - if the main thing is a behavioral plan, ask about that, may not need an IEP. > > > Thank you so much for this information! > > I was on the phone today with two different advocates from different agencies, and one didn't know the laws in CT.
