Guest guest
I was the one who asked about people's MTX experiences because I suspected I might need to go on it. I saw the rheumy today and she confirmed my suspicion that the Plaquenil is not doing enough. I left with prescriptions for MTX and folic acid. There is no longer any doubt about the diagnosis of RA; the reality of that hit me today. Unfortunately, a few hours after the appointment I had to go in to work for a special event--a party. I felt distracted and introverted and had to force myself to go through the necessary motions. I am very nervous about starting the MTX because medications always seem too strong for me. I don't want to shuffle around in a state of nausea and I don't want to lose any hair. I'm going to re-read all the MTX postings. They were helpful before.
