Thank you SO much for 'Doug'

What you didn't know was that my old boyfriend (whom I was with and traveled the

world with for 6 years) died of anaphalactic shock after getting stung from

wasps about a week before my leukemia went crazy. His name was Doug!!!

It was LOVELY having Doug at the head of my bed and all the nurses oooed and

aaahed every time they came in - he has been a real hit!

Just taken him down along with the other 114 cards in order to get ready for

home going tomorrow (pending no spiking temp on reduced antibiotic!)

Hi all,

I spoke to Lottie this evening. She sounded terrific.

She ran into a problem with her potassium levels. It was not clear if this

was something new or simply part of the Ariad drug side effects.

She is a real trooper and as soon as she can get a decent hook-up for her

computer she will be posting again.

We wish her well and kudos to her husband Jimmy who takes such good care of

her.
