Guest guest Posted June 25, 2012 Report Share Posted June 25, 2012 Hello : I wanted to know if anyone else out there is taking Valtrex along with their HIV meds who don't have herpes,shingles,etc. I am undetectable with t-cells in the high 300's and do not have shingles or ,yet my doctor has had me on Valtrex for a few years now. His explanation to me was to prevent infections in case my numbers changed and that it works well with my current regimen of drugs. Any thoughts on this???
