Hi All.

I notice that alot of you have been on Gleevec for a long time. Do you still

get eyebleed? Robyn had it in both eyes this weekend. She has been taking

Gleevec for about 2 years.

I defintely agree with you. I also get eye bleeds every so often. You are

right that it is a nusiance but better red than dead. I have been on 400 mgs

gleevec since June 2006 and went out of remission Oct 2009. the doctor

then put me on 800mgs gleevec and so far so good. Just that the water

rentention got worse, bathroom going got worse, but I am here.

Kudos to all of us.

Hi Everyone,

I've been on Gleevec about 5 years and yes, I still get

eye bleeds. They turn up randomly and unannounced but I don't think they

do any harm, just a bloody nuisance. I'd rather have eye bleeds,

cramps, funny poo and all the rest of it than be dead!

Ceil,

Question for you when you went out of remission and they put you on 800mg of

gleevec did you go back into remission?
