This was sent to me by Beth November 4, 2010 @ 3:30 PM, Central time. Just so we

don't have any disparities about what I said and what she said, I am posting her

message verbatim. There is always a possibility that this could change from day

to day. We all wish her well, without a doubt and hundreds of prayers will be

going her way.

Hugs back to you Beth, it's been a short while, but you have managed to make

many friends who believe you will pull through this bump in the road as we

sometimes call it.

We are here 24/7, our doors never close, there is always someone around the

world reading these posts and uttering prayers in countless languages and ways,

on their knees or with hands folded. I know you will keep your wits about you

and your sense of humor. xoxoxox

==================================

Let me set the books right first ... I have gone from CML very rapidly to ALL.

They are very mystified and I have opted tonight to start on the heavy drugs,

plus Dasatinib to see if we can achieve a remission. Yesterday I had 3 Doctors

taking 1 hour to do 5BMB and they still didn't get a sample and yet despite this

my long term commitment to wisdom, serenity and all that has certainly paid off

- I am as bouyant as ever and actually finding the whole thing quite fascinating

to 'watch'. May have a sense of humour failure next week LOL

I had wanted to just be able to go home and die quietly, but know such thing

with leukemia ... I would have needed constant palliative care and would run the

risk of dying from infection... so I opted to stay in the hands of these good

people!

I have the internet, masses of support and love, really good food, so am in a

fine establishment!

Thank you so much for personally reaching out and I will try to keep you

updated.

Love and gentle hugs

Love, Beth

Dear Beth:

What wonderful courage you are showing.

My wife and I wish you all the very best.  Many of us have faced a similar

situation in our long journey with CML and are still here and doing well.

Please keep that wonderful spirit going and let's hope that you will have better

news in the next few weeks.  We are all rooting for you!

Guy

Hi Beth,

I have 3 beautiful scarfs and can not figure out how to wear them! lol. They are

larger ones that would wrap around my head a few times, so I might just put them

around my neck and look stylish that way! Any suggestions?

It's so good to hear that you're doing well.

God Bless,

Jackie S.
