In my case, I have CML + AF + RI CML= chronic myeloid leukemia AF = atrial fibrillation RI = renal insufficiency my serum creatinine is 130 ---- normal range (6-110) I took Gleevec (400 mg) since June 2005 and I feel very tired. I want to try Tasigna. Gilles Note: The typical human reference ranges for serum creatinine are 0.5 to 1.0 mg/dL (about 45-90 ìmol/L) for women and 0.7 to 1.2 mg/dL (60-110 ìmol/L) for men Extract of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creatinine
Guest guest
Hi Karine, Yes, I had AF and RI before I started Gleevec. In 2002, I took VioXX to treat a herniated disc. The following week, I had high blood pressure and RI. In June 2003, I had AF. In August 2004, I had CML. Because my platelets were high (1,400K), the doctors thought that I had ET (Essential thrombocytemia). I was treated by Hydrea and Agrylin. The BCR test became positive in June 2005 and I started Gleevec.
