Guest guest
Hi all - In seeing the various messages about those with afib, I thought you might want to know about a patient-driven support website I work with as a patient advocate. This is a patient-driven site. Most of the content was written by Mellanie True Hills, a patient whose afib is now under control. http://www.stopafib.org/ Hope this helps! Guest guest
Thanks, Ed. I did not see Atrial Fibrillation on the linked symptoms page (I had looked there earlier). I have decided as long as my heart works within reason, I'll give the diet a chance. I believe I have the wife on board as well, but time will tell (she loves her veggies, nuts and fruit). I noticed many of the success stories are written after about four months, so I'm hoping to see some change within that time frame. I've been pouring over Bee's site for about a week now -- that's an overwhelming amount of information, brain fog or not, so thanks also for the links. > > > > I had no luck with the search engine for Atrial Fibrillation (when the top of the heart quivers and doesn't pump blood). I understand Candida overgrowth can cause irregular heart rhythms. I'm currently on my third medication for A-Fib which really isn't working either. I have numerous symptoms which could be Candida related. > > @@ Snip - Unnecessary text edited out

I'd like to welcome you to our group too. You cannot go wrong following Nature's Laws on Health to get healthy which helps your heart too. However, natural healing takes 1 month for every year you've been unhealthy, and for most people today that is since before they were born. I did extensive research on Atrial Fibrillation a few years ago because my Dad had it. It is mainly caused by a lack or imbalance of minerals and all of the minerals you require are on my program. Of course minerals cannot be absorbed and utilized by your body without the correct combination of fats and oils, which are also on my program. Of course you need a combination of nutrients in order to utilize fats and oils, i.e. protein, vitamins, etc. since all of the nutrients all work together. The timing for Atrial Fibrillation relief depends upon a number of factors, i.e. how long you've had it, age, stress levels, how diligently you follow this program, how debilitated you are, etc. Actually candida is the " result of " poor health and all Failing Health is caused by: 1. Lack of the correct combination of nutrients that all humans need in order to be healthy. 2. Lack of oxygen at a cellular level. 3. Accumulation of toxins, poisons, and waste because of an inability of the body to detoxify like it should. 4. Lowered vitality (energy) due to stress, shock, injury, emotional upsets, losses, relationship or financial worries, being unhealthy, etc. 5. Poor " Nutritional Status " acquired from parents upon conception. The best in health, Bee
Guest guest
Thanks for the welcome and the response, Bee. A little history: I first developed A-Fib at 46 years old, about two years ago. Its severity is debilitating when not treated with meds. Both my age at onset and the severity appear to be very rare. The doctors (and I've been to some good ones) are surprised I have this problem at this age. A naturopathic doctor believed it could be related to high Mercury levels. Years ago I tested for Mercury toxicity at very high levels. I started, but was unable to complete a heavy metals detox. My stress levels certainly could have been worse, but I had what many consider to be a stressful job, and it was apparent we weren't going to be able to sell our house when first onset occurred. And we were moving away from family. And I was retiring early and taking a big hit in retirement income. All stressors I suppose. I'm very interested in your program and plan to start it and be fully on it within the month. As it stands now, there's still ice cream in the fridge and I hate to throw 'good' food out. [grin] Thanks again, I really appreciate what you're doing for all of us. > +++Hi .
