Guest guest
First of all, hi Donna, glad you had a smile. Congrats on being PCRU. But to those who are not PCRU, it doesn't seem to make a great deal of difference. So long as you can keep the thing under control, a small percentage of CML cells/chromosomes/devils/fiends need not affect your lifestyle it seems. Lottie, I forgot to mention last time - sorry you didn't get a good reception in Liverpool. They can be a bit weird to tell you the truth. I don't particularly like the place and only visit for the theatre, art galleries and museums. Oh, and the ethnic shops for spices etc. So that's me struck off the honorary scouser list! Quite recently, I think it might have been the Capital of Culture year (that's a laugh, the place is a monument to litter) Ringo Starr was being interviewed. He was asked the question, 'What do you most miss about Liverpool?' To which he replied, 'Well, nothing really.' The next morning, his statue was found to have had its head knocked off. They don't bugger about, do they? We've been walking today. It was throwing it down with rain and the high winds of the last couple of days have felled quite a few trees so it was a bit of a miserable walk - plus my feet got wet, my socks rubbed and I have blisters. Does anybody find their skin seems to have become thinner than usual? I was wondering if it's another side effect. I only have to scrap a finger and it gushes blood. I'm cooking a curry for dinner. At the last tasting it nearly burned my gob off so I'll need to cool it down with coconut. Bye for now, Shelagh
