Guest guest
On another board I follow there is one person from Connecticut who posts as Meg320. I haven't seen anything from her recently but I think she reads the board fairly often. You might post your quesiton there and perhaps Meg320 or someone else can help you. http://www.arthritisinsight.com/cgi-bin/wsmbb/wsmbb.cgi?SB+KYWRJLLXVS/AKFCLKZQUN+config Good luck and God bless. ----- Original Message ----- From: Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Friday, January 16, 2004 7:13 AM Subject: Can anyone recommend a rheumatologist? Hi,I live in central CT and my mother is severely afflicted with RA. She currently sees a rheumatologist, but I don't think he is aggressive enough with some of the newer medications and she is getting progressively worse. Part of the problem is her unwillingness to complain or demand a different course of action. He does see the progression of the disease in the xrays of her hands and feet, but still offers no alternative course of meds. I think she needs a doctor who will be more active in her therapy and not so willing to let her wind up in a wheelchair (she is very close). Is there anyone on the list who is local to me and is happy with their current doctor? Thanks,
Guest guest
Hi, ! It's great that you are advocating for your mother. Until she can see someone else, would your mother permit you and is it possible for you to go with her to her appointments? Or have you already? Here is the ACR's geographic rheumatologist search tool: http://www.rheumatology.org/directory/geo.asp [ ] Can anyone recommend a rheumatologist? > Hi, > > I live in central CT and my mother is severely > afflicted with RA.
