Guest guest
Hi Thank you for responding! I am more concerned about them adding a behavioral intervention plan at this time, but they told me that they would only add one on as an " as needed basis " . My daughter wrote a threatening letter to a girl in her class that called her a name, so I called the meeting to try to add this plan. I thought she would have to be considered special education to add it. They told me I should think positively instead of negatively, which I agree, but yet, they sent me the letter about the infraction, than the following week, my dd apparantly said something else to another child that said something to her. It's been really crazy! They said I should wait to see if something else happens. My dd has Bipolar also, and I don't want her in juvenile detention. Anyway, sorry for rambling, but,no, they didn't give me any reason for anything. They just said she didn't qualify for any special ed services. I feel my dd is not being taught properly for her diagnosis's, and I could list several accomodations to help her, but they don't seem to want to listen to anything. I don't know where to begin with this. Thanks again Hugs Judy
