Guest guest
Hi, Ruth: Great point. There is a group on stem cells that deals in greater detail with all aspects of stem cell research. There are also philosophy and ethics groups that are more appropriate for debating the medical ethics of all aspects of stem cell research. Because of the potential for stem cell research to impact on CML patients, we should continue to post information on developments in this area. We have cleared up any misunderstanding between the two of us. The point of my post was to say it's important to identify the source of information. In this for instance, if you believe in the goals of the Family Research Council or if you don't believe in the goals of the Family Research Council it is important to know that the information comes from them. As I told Lottie, it's too bad tone of voice and expression can't be heard in our posts. I thought I was making a statement about citing sources. Obviously, it didn't come through that way. It is not my intention to tell anyone what to believe about stem cell research. I believe that if we don't know sources we can't make informed decisions or have informed opinions. That's all I tried to say. Ruth
