Guest guest
I forgot to include this in my post about Skip, he had mentioned recently that he had lost 1 log. Most of the terms we talk about regularly, but logs are usually misunderstood, so I include this in conjunction with the news that he had dropped one log. Anyone with any knowledge of long term non responding CML patients would consider this a marvel. A molecular test result of what a log reduction means that if you are 100% at diagnosis and are now at 10%, that is equal to a 1 log reduction. If you have no blood to speak of or platelets, how could you have a l log reduction? If you need further explanation, Tracey could explain it much better than me, but I would be happy to have one log my self.
