Can it really be working this fast?

Hi all,

My 8 year old daughter started Lexapro (5 ml liquid) Tuesday night and

we have had 3 days with NO incidents, melt-downs, or tantrums at all.

She is a little sleepy, but not bad. And her appetite is definitely

smaller. I just can't believe we have had 3 " normal " days in a row.

Things that would have set her off have barely phased her.

I just hope this lasts : )

We are seeing her therapist next week to start up again. Although the

therapist said we may only need another 5-6 visits. To be honest, I'd

LOVE a break from therapy (so would our checkbook), and since the meds

are doing wonders, I'm wondering if a break would be OK once we finish

these 5-6 visits.

We will probably need to find a new therapist as we cannot afford the

current one much longer. Maybe a break in between?
