Guest guest
Hello to everyone. Here's some of the test results I received so far. The GREAT news is by PB: No BCR-ABL fusion transcript is detected by real-time PCR Which I know is awesome, however, there was not enough marrow to run the cytogenetics test. They did order a FISH, but it is not complete yet. I am patiently waiting for those results. It could be another couple weeks. I will let myself rejoice when I see that there are 0 of the ph chromosones. Dr DeLima said that if the PB test shows negative, the cytogenetics will be zero. I'm praying......but I know he's the expert. Here are the results of my sister's cells: The post-transplant microsatellite polymorphism pattern shows a mixed chimera in which the donor pattern MRN 850445 comprises approximately 92% of the total DNA. Microsatellite polymorphism analysis reveals that 56% of T-cells are of donor MRN 850445 origin. Microsatellite polymorphism analysis reveals that 98% of myeloid cells are of donor MRN 850445 origin. Some of you may understand these results, and some will hopefully never have to learn them. The Lord knows I never planned on learning so much about our cell system. But here it is for those that it will interest. It's good news and will only get better as time passes. Dr DeLima says I am at the 6 month mark! Yeahhhhh. God Bless, Jackie S.
