Guest guest
Sure *-) I am not positive, but I 'think' that you can either add a poll at the lyme aid site and/or view old polls. These may also give you some insight. If you do add a poll , will make an announcement to the group *-) [ ] Survey > > > > > Would anyone mind completing a very short 10 question survey on > basic demographics and experience with Lyme disease. The car we had before that was also new (Toyota Paseo 1992). I don't know if that is really helpful or not, but she did spend the first year of her life in two different new cars if that helps. > 2.) Guest guest
Bill, We purchased our brand new Toyota Sienna exactly one month before our twins were born in Feb 2004. They rode in it as newborns as a brand new vehicle. Thanks, Dana billydkid5 <billydkid5@...> wrote: Hello, My name is Bill. Guest guest
Hi Bill, I've never owned a new car (my current one is the newest I've owned) and have no children on or off the spectrum but cars are full of toxic materials not least among them, flame retardant. My Prius had been in an accident when the previous owner had it. When I first got it my hands got very irritated from where I held the steering wheel. I figured out later that the air bag had probably triggered when the previous owner had it and some of whatever's in it was still on the steering wheel, probably flame retardant, (possibly antimony?). Many places where one finds antimony one also finds arsenic as stain resistant. Just this week I had body work done after someone rear-ended the Prius so it's really stinky now (new paint). I put an open container of apple cider vinegar in it to try to soak up some of the fumes. Luckily it's now warm enough to drive with the windows open. I try to only use the Prius for work (I have to take clients to appts and shopping) and we walk, bike, or use public transit for our own errands. S S Hello, My name is Bill.
