Guest guest Posted May 3, 2004 Report Share Posted May 3, 2004 , My DR said that Plaquenil is one of the cause of dry eyes too along with RA.I have "0" tears and never had this until I started the Meds in 1990. Lucy "Dry eye" is very common with RA, but not a side effect of placquenil. I had dry eye long before I began taking pacquenil and it hasn't really worsened.
