Guest guest
My heart and deepest sympathies go out to both the Harry Mc families and to the Barty families. n and both left this world on the same day. May they both be in our hearts for a very long time to come and may our good Lord watch over all of us, as we approach the coming New Year. Sincerely, Ann Meyer
Guest guest
Hi I had my total hip replacement done in April five years so I wish you a speedy recovery:-) Regards juneflower60pu leigh_3220004 <Lgh@...> wrote: Best wishes to Kathy Balestrier ( THR on April 9th) andLiz Macinty (THR on 2nd April). I was just reading old emails and wondering what you are making of your new hips? Hope you are both recovering well from your ops. I placed a post about when is it time for a THR to which you both responded to and am now on the waiting list, so should have my op in about 6 months-yipee. I was also wondering if anybody has had experience of recovery from THR with osteotomy at the same time. I am to have my old osteotomy site rebuilt to place the hip socket into and 2 inches removed from the thigh and pinned, as when they put the hip inline with the other one my leg would apparantly be longer. Thanks,Leigh

Guest guest
Hi Suzanne, Thank you so much for your kind words. We are very lucky to have each other. It has been just one year since I joined this group. Actually Dec. 10th I think was the date. I do not know where I would be if it weren't for all the people in this group. I wish you and those you care about good health and happy times. Cold? Tonight we are getting into the low 20's. We have ice dam's on our roofs that we have not seen in years. In fact, the stores have all run out of roof rakes...we've had a lot of snow. The icicles are beautiful hanging from the roofs but it can really cause damage. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else except Wisconsin during the holidays though. You enjoy your trip to the Caribbean. My husband and I were there about 5 yrs ago...absolutely a different world....beautiful. Where are you from Suzanne? Have a wonderful Holiday and a healthy New Year!!!
