With this program you only lose 1 to 2 pounds a week, so only eating clean 80% of the time will definitely hurt your progress. If I don't stick to the eating plan 100% 6 days, I don't lose any weight. Try sticking to the eating all 6 days, I think you will notice a big improvement. I know it is hard, but so worth the work!!! Good luck!
Guest guest
Are you going to post your pictures? A lot of the time we can't see our own changes until somebody more objective points them out. I cried my guts out when I saw my challenge one after photos. I was seriously disappointed until I posted them here and all the nice ladies pointed out that I was blind and stupid. :-) If you've lost 10 pounds in 6 weeks you're doing great! Your morning weight is the only one that counts. Any other time of day you're weighing water and lunch. Hitting the wall I'm with here. Today is Week 6, Day 4 for me, so I decided to do mid-point pictures. I just don't understand it--I've been pretty good. Eating clean more than 80% of the time, and I think I've missed 2-3 workouts. I *feel* thinner, my boyfriend says I look thinner, and I've dropped five pounds (ten in the morning), but my pictures look exactly the same. I can't help but think it's my boyfriend lying and not the camera. It's terribly discouraging to be halfway done and have nothing to show for it. I'm going to keep on going, because I know I'll eventually see results, but I'm afraid I'm getting impatient. Maybe it's my eating? I know they say that eating is 80% of the battle, so if I'm only eating clean 80% of the time, it might be hurting me. I just see everyone else's pictures and they look so good...how come my pictures don't look like that? Thanks for listening, guys, KatJ
Guest guest
It should work out since you are on and so is the group. Sorry I have SBCGLOBAL (aka AT & T) so I can't help you with settings. Steph hitting the wall I am so sick and tired of getting half my messages in my spam box. Yes, I jumped through all the hoops to correct this problem, but when I got to adding a filter, I was stumped by the choices I had to make. For Pete's sake, can't do something about this so annoying problem?
Guest guest
You could make a filter so that all messages addressed to iodine go to your inbox. Or messages that have in subject. ~Jasmina~ On Wed, Nov 10, 2010 at 11:49 AM, erna ruben <rubenerna@...> wrote: I am so sick and tired of getting half my messages in my spam box. Guest guest
At first there were only a few that went to the spam folder, but each day more and more came. Otherwise I receive the iodine/adrenal/NTH all together in the in box, except of course, now it has become half of them that go to spam. Just another irritation in life. Hopefully it will "heal" itself. (And yes, I checked all the settings and even went to the HELP page.) I am so sick and tired of getting half my messages in my spam box. Guest guest
Did you make sure you added iodine to your address book? If it is in your address book and a known contact it should stop sending it to you spam folder. Guest guest
I found it easier to have all my iodine mail go to spam. I don't get that much other spam so it's worked out great. I have my regular mail folder and my iodine folder. Sue I am so sick and tired of getting half my messages in my spam box. Guest guest
Jill, thank you so much for sharing your frustrations and your story. We all have a story to tell and though some are similiar, some are more difficult than others. Somehow we manage to muddle through. I think it is in our nature that when the going gets tough, we get tougher and work harder. We must know our limitations and when you " hit the wall of tolerance " , it is your body telling you it needs to rest. I am so happy for you that you are MR and your husband has a new kidney. I am in acute renal failure. Life has its twists and turns and will have its way with us. I do applaud you for hanging in and working, even though it is difficult. I hope all goes well for you for many, many years. We will always have challenges, but in most cases they get resolved despite our efforts to get it done our way. LOL. I know well the challenges of tax season. Many years ago, I was a tax preparer, but kept my full time job as well. I was just talking to Jimmy about a man I knew back then who always came to our home on the evening of April 14, He and his wife were such nice people, I couldn't turn him down, he just never complained about the government or how much taxes he had to pay, they were just so pleasant to deal with. He always got his taxes done on time, and he always got a refund, so I don't know why he procrastinated all those years. Sometimes you just can't figure people out. Thank you for choosing us and for letting us know you are out there. Carpe Diem, Lottie Duthu
