Guest guest
I just wanted to tell you what my doctor gave me for diarrhea. It's colestipid granules you stir in juice or water. You can get it in tablets, but they are horse pills if you try to swallow them. When I was in the hospital, the nurses would use a pill grinder, so my personal form is the granules. It is expensive, but it works and you would have to get your doctor to give you a prescription. It's a big bottle and lasts a long time. You can even ask the pharmacy to give you a partial prescription if you want to test the waters first. You might start out with the full dose and as you get used to it, you may be able to do with less. It worked for me that way. Ask your doctor what he thinks about it, or you can google it and bring it with you. My doctor uses a little Palm that also advises what other drugs has contraindications and what sizes they come in.They have a thick coating on them, so it would be difficult to use a pill splitter. A pill splitter just as a little tiny razor blade and can't take too much abuse, because they bend when you use something hard, as with this pill. This really works.
