Guest guest
Hi Lana, Welcome to the group....a ton of information is passed on a daily basis. After a short while, most of the information will start to make sense. Sorry that you had to find us.... ________________________________ From: Lana Setliff <gotcha2700@...> Sent: Wed, January 26, 2011 7:18:05 AM Subject: [ ] PCRU  Hello, I am newly diagnosed Dec 17, 2010. Everything is NEW for me. Your post are really helping me more than even my doctor so i truly appreciate it! My WBC was 32,000 and after 2 weeks of Gleevec are now 10,000. My question is what is PCRU exactly? How is that measured? Thanks, Lana

Guest guest
Dear Phyllis, Hooray for you, being PCRU for 5 years, lucky you. If you have concerns about taking the max dose of Gleevec, why don't you write Dr. Druker and explain your problem and ask him for his opinion. When in doubt, ask the expert. I have never been PCRU, but would love to be standing in your shoes at the moment. LOL Carpe Diem, Lottie Duthu
